Sending Brassard to a NYR or PHI where he wouldn't be relied on so much would probably be best for him.

Vancouver needs a second line center, say Shroeder and a 3rd for Brassard , or Lack if Mason would be dealt.

Brassard would also be a good fit in Phoenix, but I agree about NYI. He would florish playing with Tavares.

One of the 2 can adjust. Tavares is more of a natural sniper.

Doesn't Brassard play both center and wing?

Right, and maybe you can get Dipietro on the other wing. Centers are hard to come by, why would you push Brassard to the wing when he can play center? Anyways, this doesnt even matter because they are not moving Brassard. This blog was pointless.

Yes, Brasard has played a lot of wing this season with Johansen, Dubinsky, Anisimov and Mackenzie playing the pivot.

I'd love to have Brassard on the Canucks, he's what we need right now! And regarding rivalries, you can really have any until you're competing for something. Which Columbus never has.

Maybe, maybe not but I don't think you or I can say definitively one way or another. Kekalainen has zero ties to this player and Brassard hasn't exactly established himself so maybe a change of scenery would be a good idea for Brassard if Columbus could get fair value in a trade. Besides, I know for a fact there was rumored interest from another club on Brassard just a few weeks back.

I think the Ranger Jacket games will be intereting next year and possibly beyond...could be a nice little rivalry...bobrovsky could stick it to philly too

wow. never seen someone on this site actually undervalue one of their teams players. Hmm.

Brassard is worth more than Schroeder and a 3rd. Maybe he'd be a fit in CHI. Kane doesn't want to play 2C and they think Bolland is a 3C if I'm not mistaken

That's funny, I thought adding the 3rd made it a bad deal for Vancouver.

I do that alot, you should of seen my proposal on a possible return for Nash , very undervalued but everyone agreed it would be that type of trade.

I dont expect Brassard to wheel in much because he's a 6th overall that cant seem to break into his full potential, he shows flashes of what he might be (like last night is a great example) but I dont think Kekaleinan is willing to wait around and see what he might do.
